Why mulitple teachers?

Well, we are trying something new. Every student has a unique relationship with a particular teaching philosophy and we feel that students learn best when exposed to diverse teachers, which is why we rotate teachers every quarter at Stanford. This Spring, we’re going to go one step further and introduce you to multiple, exceptional teachers with unique tango philosophies. Our teacher lineup includes locals and visitors. We will expose you to beautifully diverse tango philosophies, and you will find the central congruencies inherent to modern tango. This is a wonderful opportunity to rapidly discern your own unique philosophical preferences and to experience classes with several teachers, in preparation for taking lessons outside of Stanford over the summer quarter. Due to the careful preparation on the part of our teachers and organizers, the beginner series is structured to be fairly progressive in terms of difficulty level- while exposing you to different styles. We appreciate constructive feedback, delivered to stanfordtangoclub@gmail.com or in person at our events.
